Betrayal of the Best Kind by Draco664 ***
Complete. Harry is accused and sentenced for a crime he did not commit, but he survives and escapes Azkaban when he discovers his animagus form. Sequel: Midnight Duel, Midday Love (Complete). Alternate link (Yahoo Group). Phoenix anumagus form.

Betrayal of the Light by Hannibal ad Portas *
ABANDONED. AU postOotP. Harry gets a visit from Sirius, and realizes that if he wants to win the war, he must forge his own destiny. Of course, it's never that simple, is it? Betrayed, he must seek out new allies, and form an army of his own. Major HG. Phoenix animagus form.

Beyond My World by Light Avatar **
Complete. After his latest clash with Voldemort, Harry finds himself in a universe where Voldemort raised him to be a Death Eater. Can Harry get in touch with Dumbledore, convince him that he's not evil, and find a way home? AU after OotP, no ships. Very small plot point of Harry with Phoenix animagus form.

Dark Phoenix by Sofia Dragon **
WIP. Harry Potter ran away one day, tired of watching others suffer for his ignorance. He couldn't sit on the sidelines and wait for someone else to tell him what to do any more. Luck, as always, is on his side as he works to make a place for himself, not only in the war, but in life. Some very old magic is at work, allowing him to do far more then he thought he could. Complete. This is a very long series! Somewhere in the fourth or fifth story in the series Harry acquires a few attributes of a phoenix.

Never Alone, Never Again by Bored Beyond Belief ****
Complete. Harry's holiday reaches it's lowest point. Will Harry finally be able to have the kind of love everyone else seems to take for granted? Connected vignette: Make a Joyful Noise Phoenix animagus form.

Past the scar by Mione5 *
Complete. Harry's shoulders are only so broad, so what happens when it all becomes too much. He just wants to be normal. He wants to find someone who can see past the scar. But who really can? Phoenix animagus form (but only very briefly mentioned at the end).

Stranger in an Unholy Land by Jono ****
Complete. Days before his 6th year, Harry Potter is sucked into another universe by forces not of this world. Dazed and confused, Harry finds himself in a world where his parents are alive, where Voldemort has never fallen and he is Voldemort's key enforcer. Alternate link (Yahoo group). Phoenix animagus form (occurs somehwere in the middle of the story).

Stockholm Syndrome by Hannibal ad Portas *
ABANDONED. AU: Sirius breaks out of Azkaban eight years early, and rescues Harry from the Dursleys. Eleven years later, Ginny is accidentally kidnapped....by Harry? HG. Phoenix animagus form.

Harry spends the Summer after fifth Year with Charlie on the Dragon Preserve, and matters proceed from there. Harry's Phoenix form plays a reasonably important part, especially in the later stories. AU after fifth year. Well written and definitely worth reading.

	One for you: Realizations by Wishweaver features Harry with certain attributes of the phoenix - healing tears, for example. He and Fawkes develop a sort of telepathic bond. (While I'm replying to this, I just want to say, good idea for a list. I've always rather liked the symbolism of Harry and the phoenix, and even more so since DH.) (Reply to this)

Light in the Shadows by A Brighter Dawn
Summary: In another universe, where Harry Potter never existed, things are getting desperate. Voldemort rules all with Lucius at his right hand and Draco, a vampire/veela hybrid, as his dark heir. Those who would rebel against him have been placed in the Shadow Camps. A last group of radicals desperately seek the help of one who can defeat the Dark Lord. They use a long forgotten ritual to bring them someone with the power to destroy this evil… Harry Potter never can get a break.

DMHP and past SFHP pairing, but it's really awesome! 'another universe' kinda theme.. Harry got an animagus form: a Night Phoenix. You can see it in the end of chapter 4 and in the chapter 5. It got 11 chapters and still on going..

Birth of a Phoenix by phoenix catcher
Summary: Harry was born the younger of two twins. Together he and his older brother, Benjamin, defeat Voldemort and are declared their saviors but Harry is struck by an unknown disease and neglected by his parents despites his two brothers attempts to include him. He runs away at the age of five and is sent to an orphanage where he runs into Nicolas and Perenelle Flamel and taught to become an Animagus; An impossible Phoenix Animagus. After the deaths of his two ageless mentors he returns to his brothers to rekindle their relations as siblings even as the threat of Voldemort hangs over them all and Harry must hide as a Phoenix and figure out why his form is possible. Currently in fifth year of Hogwarts.

It's still on going and it has 6 chapter.. No pairing..

I haven't even read it yet.. I just want to read it now.. but I promise that this is a great one! 'Cause the author is really really awesome at making cool fics!

Can you imagine how little number of guys, that read AND write good slash AND adventure like him? Yes, he's a guy!

And if you watched Charmed, you can read his other fics too! It's sooooo cool! (there's Stargate and others too)

	I'm here to tell you that phoenix catcher probably make another fic with Harry Potter as an animagus.. with the form of phoenix. 'Cause just think.. his name is 'phoenix' catcher! It's the truth really.. 'cause I just have read his other fic.. A Second Life.. Harry is a Dark Phoenix.. with silver streak.. and the power to control ice and lightning! Cool isn't it?! Im looking for a fic in which Harry has is a phoenix animagus. He had been imprisoned in Azkaban, Draco breaks him out, Transfiguring a mouse into a dog (Harry's original form) to make people think he has gone one way and takes him to America. I think he gives him a stuffed toy or something. Anyhoo, Draco, being part of the order has to go back to Britian but before he does he and Harry have sex, when he returns a few weeks later Harry has gone and nobody can find him.

Years after and Hermione hears him on the radio and Draco, Snape and I think Sirius go out to find him, they do but only to find he has twin sons called Evan and Matthew (and a very protective house keeper called Nicole) and Draco realises they are his children.

He finds Harry standing on a cliffs edge on morning and watches him tranform into a phoenix and fly around.

Snape and Sirius try to persude Harry to return to Hogwarts but he refuses, and Draco decides to stay with him and get to know his family.

A few months later and Voldemort has desended on America so they pack up and move back. They return to Hogwarts and everybody is really angry at him for not returning when they asked but he reminds them that they abandoned him first.

He is the hier of Gryffindor and Slytherin and is somehow related to Voldemort I think because he stays in the founders quarters. The war breaks out and Draco and Nicole go into hiding with the children (through and underground passage that goes under the lake, with the help of a sleeping dragon statue that has to be tickled to be woken up) Harry goes off to fight and while he is one of the twins is kidnapped by Lucius, Ron gives his life to save him.

Harry disappears and nobody knows where he is until Christmas eve when Fawkes flies into the great hall with another phoenix, who transforms into Harry. He relates that he had forgotten who he was (i think) and just like his animagus form needed to rise from the ashes.

I've read the list of links in this site, but there was one I didn't find in here so I thought I'd add it.
It's a crossover between Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, it's also slash, so you have been warned!

In this particular story Harry spends most of his time in his phoenix form (a shadow phoenix with the ability to travel and manipulate the shadows as well as healing tears and immortality, as well as mind speach)

Pairing will be Harry/Legolas.

It's a crossover between the X-Men and Harry Potter. It's also slash, so you have been warned!

The main pairing is Harry/Remy (Remy is also known as Gambit, and Cajun for those who didn't know)
Angel/Rouge so far

Harry turns into a white phoenix with golden highlights, his abilities thus far are; rapid healing(similar to Logan), Inmortality(or an extreamly long life, it's not yet too clear), telephathy(this only shows in resent chapters so I'm not sure if it is that or an advanced form of Legime...something like that...), his magic is also a lot more powerful and free(meaning he doesn't require a spell to do the job).
The other abilities he has have not been fully discovered, it's a work in progress as the chapters continue.

i need help finding this fic.
It has really distinctive nicknames and is hpdm.
the nicknamES are related to the animagus forms of harry and draco and are like Shadow Phoenix and Ice Kat i believe.
I know they form like a 'new' marauders but beyond that i don't remember much about the fic.
